We are a local church within the meaning of the instructions given by Jesus Christ and His apostles in the New Testament. We are a professing church. Our belief is that faith is a personal response to God’s offer of our salvation. The Bible shows that one is not born a Christian, but that one becomes one through a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.
Our confession of faith is based on the Bible, the inspired Word of God. It is in agreement with the “Apostles’ Creed” or Nicene-Constantinople Creed (4th century councils), and with the central biblical affirmations of the Reformation rediscovered in the 16th century: the Word of God alone, Faith alone, Grace alone.
As part of our activities, we also collaborate with other churches and Christian organizations, in particular the Evangelical Network. Our activities are open to all. Becoming a member is not obligatory. Our commitments are financed solely through voluntary donations.
Our motivation has its source in the love of God manifested in Jesus Christ, which can still give deep meaning to the lives of our contemporaries and real hope in a society losing its bearings and values. The church is not primarily an institution, but a place of peace and renewal which allows us to live our Christian faith and share the joys, trials and challenges of life.
