We believe that civil authorities were instituted by God for the moral welfare and peace of nations and that He commands believers to submit to them(Mat. 22:17-21/ Rom. 13:1-7/ 1 Tim. 2:1-3). We therefore teach that one must obey their laws and statutes, pay tribute, taxes and other duties, and bear the yoke of subjection of a good and honest will (Matt. 17:24).
However, in the event of conflict between the will of God, expressed by his Word: the Bible, and the law of men, the Obedience to God in His Word prevails(Acts 4:19 and Acts 5:29) em>.
